Pride Wrestling Camp brings together a group of the
best instructors and offers a very special dynamic to the students.
Many of these coaches have been with the camp since the inception
in 1989! One of the special elements of the camp is that many instructors
have come through the camp as a student, then as a college counselor,
and now as a coach. The coaches at Pride camp are a family and each
coach is dedicated to making the camp experience at Pride the best
experience available anywhere in the nation. This staff takes PRIDE
in what we have developed over the last two decades.
Glenn Goodman - Camp Director
 Camp
Director Glenn Goodman, who also instructs at the camp, is the camp
director and the originator of the Florida Pride Wrestling Camps. As
a competitor Glenn Goodman set many 1st time accomplishments for Florida
wrestlers. Glenn won the Cadet Nationals and went on to be the world
champion for that age group (16 & under), a first for a Florida wrestler.
In high school he won four state titles while compiling a record of
111-0! Both of these accomplishments were a "first" for Florida wrestling.
On the open level, Glenn Goodman was a member of the USA Wrestling Team
where he competed in numerous international tournaments and won a Pan
American gold medal. Glenn retired from competition with a gold medal
performance at the 1993 Maccabiah Games in Israel and he now lives in
Clearwater and trains local wrestlers on an individual basis.
While Scotti is just embarking on his already remarkable
college career, he will add the type of expertise and enthusiasm that
defines Pride Wrestling Camp of Florida. His record so far is remarkable
- As a High School wrestler, Scotti Sentes won 4 state titles and pinned
all 4 opponents in his final state tournament. Scotti went on to win
the HS National Championship. Now wrestling for central Michigan University,
Scotti as a true freshman became an All- American - the first true freshman
in his school's history. Currently in his second year Scotti has emerged
as one of the nation's top wrestlers, but more importantly is a great
instructor and role model for aspiring High school wrestlers. It is
with great "Florida Pride" that Scotti Sentes will be along side students
instructing, training and talking to them about the elements of success.
A member of the USA wrestling team for over a decade
will bring wealth of international experince to Pride Wrestling Camp.
While competing for the Marines, Craig Pittman was a two time national
champion, and won 5 world military championships. As a coach for the
Marines, Craig Pittman coached national champions, world champions,
and Olympic team members. In addition to his accomplished amateur wrestling
career, Craig Pittman was also a professional wrestling star with the
WCW - known as "Sgt Craig Pitbull Pittman ". It is an honor to have
such an accomplished competitor and coach join the family at Pride Wrestling
Camp.
